Hi! I’m Pindi 👋
Hey there! I’m Pindi, pinDeliver’s AI co-worker, and I’ve got you covered with a bunch of instructional videos. From step-by-step tutorials to pro tips, I’m here to guide you through everything you need to know about our platform. Let’s get started!
Route optimization
Once your orders have been generated in pinDeliver, either through Excel upload or API integration, the next step is to undertake route optimization and planning. The timing of this optimization process varies among companies. Some choose to perform route planning the day prior to the scheduled deliveries, while others opt for last-minute planning just before loading their vehicles. The route optimization process itself can be accomplished in a matter of minutes.
Typically, the routing process is automated, allowing you to simply confirm the proposed routes and assign drivers. However, it is worth noting that manual adjustments to suggested routes, including modifications and the addition of new routes, are entirely feasible.
For a comprehensive demonstration of the route planning functionality, watch the video below.
Order upload with Excel
One straightforward method for importing orders into pinDeliver is via an Excel sheet. This approach eliminates the need for immediate integration development, although it remains an essential task in the long run. Many companies initially adopt the Excel import feature and subsequently proceed to phase 2, where they develop integrations from their ERP or WMS.
